About the Modelling and Simulation Centre

Established in 2011 with a partnership with EDF, MaSC focuses on high-level numerical methods and physical modelling to address challenges in fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, and more.

Our research

Computational methods

We develop and apply cutting-edge computational methods to tackle complex engineering challenges. Our expertise spans computational fluid dynamics, solid mechanics, turbulence modelling, materials modelling, and high-fidelity simulation. We also advance emerging techniques such as AI-driven modelling, digital twins, and high-performance computing.
